| which is actually not a run but a ferry ride and a walk around Port Jefferson, NY. We are now meeting at 9:45 off I-95 exit 30 (Surf Avenue) in Stratford. At the end of the exit take a left. Go about one tenth of a mile to the Park 'n Ride entrance on the right. We will be taking the 10:30 ferry.
The ferry ride to Port Jeff is one hour and 15 minutes and costs $17 round trip. There is a snack bar on board for those of you who need that extra cup of coffee and........ Once arriving in Port Jeff there is a short walk across the street to lots of shops and restaurants. If we are lucky there may even be a craft show. The return ferry runs every hour and our departure time will be decided by all on the day of our trip.
