Since 1987 the Connecticut MG Club has been a great place for owners of all MGs and people who like MGs to meet, greet, have tech sessions and show their cars. We have more than 250 members, and cars in the club include M-types through MGB-LEs. We gather monthly for club meetings at Farrel's Restaurant, Rte 66, Portland, and we have five Regional Groups that meet at other times in various places for ice cream, pizza and lunches. . Monthly the club publishes a newsletter, The Mowog News. It has been printed on paper for years, and now we are making it available electronically, with real color pictures. In it are the happenings of the club, a calendar, news, articles and car & parts exchange. In the club are members of many different interests, including those who drive to National events such as NE MGT Register GOFs, MGA Nationals and MGB Nationals. Other interests include regional and in-state driving events, such as the Cinco de Mayo run. At tech sessions engines have been rebuilt, gearboxes rebuilt, thrust washers replaced in rear axles, electrical systems de-mystified (usually), relays for better lighting installed, cruise controls installed and more. One of the charms of 35+ year-old cars is the need for love and attention. CT MG Club helps to provide both. Membership is $25.00, well worth it for all the activities and events. Join us.
